Disinfection with Aqualine Ultraviolet Systems is the process of neutralizing microorganisms without adding any chemicals or oxidants to the water.
Disinfection with Ultraviolet Systems is the process of neutralizing microorganisms without adding any chemicals or oxidants to the water. Thanks to the ultraviolet lamp placed in a tube-like glass case, the water entering the device is given a dosed UV light. This is ultraviolet The rays cause the microorganisms to become ineffective by disrupting their DNA structure. In this way the average Disinfection efficiency of 99.9% is achieved.
In order for microorganisms to be killed with this system, ultraviolet light must hit them directly. Therefore, before the water enters the Ultraviolet system, parameters such as sediment and turbidity must be removed from the water. For this, it is recommended to use a sand filter or a cartridge filter before ultraviolet.
Another issue to be considered in Ultraviolet Systems is to put the system as close to final use as possible. In addition, the water coming out of the system should not enter a separate unit, especially open to the atmosphere, and should be used without waiting. Periodic maintenance is important to obtain a good efficiency in ultraviolet units. Quartz glass cleaning should be done periodically depending on the UV lamp change and raw water quality once a year. If this cleaning is not done, UV radiation efficiency will decrease and device efficiency will decrease.
