Filter Press is an equipment used for the dewatering of biological or chemical sludge. The dewatering process is carried out by the solid-liquid separation of the sludge by applying pressure filtration with the help of filter press plates and cloths. Filter press selection is determined according to the amount of sludge to be formed in the system and operating conditions. Each filter plate has different sizes and capacities. In order for the sludge dewatering efficiency to be at the desired values, the most suitable Filter Press selection should be made for the operating needs and conditions. System; It is formed by arranging more than one plate with the same dimensions in order and dressing each plate with filter cloth. Filter cloths ensure that the water in the sludge is filtered and removed from the sludge. The filtered water is conveyed to the waste water treatment plant via a discharge line. The remaining sludge cake is collected on the cloth and removed from the system. Removal of sludge cake from the system can be designed automatically or manually according to customer demand.
